I have to tell you, I have never wanted to dye my hair black more than I did at High Point this year. I’d say 80% of the people there were blonde. Crazy! There’s a sociology thesis in there somewhere…
When I wasn’t seeing myself coming or going, my fellow Bossettes and I noted three trends.
Trend #1: Saturated color
Finally! And yay!

We all know that blush has been around for a while. (I used it my own living room not too long ago.) But it’s giving way to bona fide pink now.

Trend #2: White case goods
There’s more painted furniture in general, and definitely more white.

Trend #3: Shearling upholstery
It’s not real shearling, of course, but it’s super smushy and cozy.

Bonus: Finally, here are 2 things that aren’t going away: brass and bamboo. I don’t think we can call them trends anymore!

Sometimes, you have brass and bamboo in the same piece!

Settle in, Gentle Readers, because brass finishes and bamboo designs are going to be around for a loooonnnnggg time!
