Our process starts with an introductory phone conversation. In addition to discussing your project, I ask, What made you reach out? Why Annie Elliott Design? and Why now? We send you a summary of our 15-step design process and a brief questionnaire. If we decide that we’re a good fit for each other in both style and personality, we schedule a 2-hour site meeting to conduct a walk-though, create a wish list, and determine a scope of work.

Then the Design Phase begins. With access to the best resources, my talented colleagues and I build a comprehensive design plan for a beautiful, personalized home. The plan will include unexpected colors and patterns; a mix of antiques and modern pieces — furniture that’s both beautiful and well made; vintage rugs and jazzy stair runners; strategically placed lamps; custom window treatments to control sunlight and provide privacy; and art for over the fireplace. Your house will feel complete. It also will feel cohesive, with each room flowing into the next.

We bring the design to life in the Implementation Phase that follows. We place and monitor all merchandise orders and schedule deliveries and installations at your convenience. We also coordinate “the work;” we have long-standing relationships with top tradespeople, and we insist on the highest quality of workmanship.
