Thank you, Jennifer Sergent of the amazing blog, DC By Design!

Jen invited me to do a guest post about my kitchen backsplash saga from start to (yay!) finish, and it went live today.

When Jen learned that my original backsplash had arrived from China in roughly 700 pieces, she called me immediately. “Oh my gosh — I’m SO sorry!” she blurted.
I mean, who makes a condolence call about a backsplash? Jennifer Sergent, that’s who,
I have to confess that it was cathartic to write the post. I had to dig back through my calendar to get the timing right, and I had to confront memories that I’d tamped down pretty hard. If you can have backsplash-related PTSD, I had it.
But — spoiler alert — all’s well that ends well.
So click through, read all about it, and be happy that it’s over. I will never utter the word “backsplash” in your presence again ;)
