So I was walking up Walnut Street in Philadelphia, minding my own business, when WHAM, out of nowhere I’m blinded by a flash of green.
Wallpaper? I thought. But no, it was tile – tile on the walls and on the ceiling of a fairly new chain of vegetarian restaurants called Maoz. According to its website, Maoz has precious few outlets in the U.S. so far: several in NY, 2 in Phila., one in Florida, and one coming to DC soon, it promises.
All I can say is, if the falafel is anything like the restaurants’ interiors, sign me up.
