Oh, Gentle Readers — things are really moving with the ASPIRE House now!
The house itself is pretty stunning, I have to say. It’s by Artisan Builders. My colleague Amy and I felt a definite museum-y/gallery-y vibe the first time we saw it with walls, which was only a few weeks ago.

Isn’t it dramatic? Back down to earth…

Right after my last post, some of the furniture arrived.

Then last week, the fabric stuff came in: the bedding, pillows, custom lampshade, etc. The intrepid Sew Hallie installed the window treatments and “bed drapery,” as a modified canopy is called .

This week, we install the art, and then we style the étagère, which will be no small feat. It’s gigantic, with six — six!!!! — super-wide shelves to fill.
Please keep in mind, Gentle Readers, that not only is everything in our room for sale, the house ITSELF is on the market!
Talk about one-stop shopping.
