Whew! The Design House opening went really well last night! People seemed to like all of the rooms, although they were very savvy about not making their comments too loudly (according to my spies.) The one thing several people did say was that it had been a long time since anyone put so much effort into the entry and foyer (my 2 spaces). That was nice to hear.
I hope Michele Ginnerty of My Notting Hill will give you a good party summary…I was too busy flitting around to take any pictures.
Since broken necks are NOT covered in my insurance, I’m off to the hardware store to get some double-sided tape for the foyer rug. Total hazard. An interior designer’s work is never done…
