I know, Gentle Readers: I’m late to the party. I only started watching Sex Education recently, but I’m making up for lost time. I love it. (I also love that I’m NOT watching it with my teenagers. As are they.)
Anyhoo, I was delighted to note that I recognized two of the wallpapers in Jean Milburn’s house.
The first is Blackthorn by William Morris.
I’m not usually a William Morris gal, but we just proposed some WM wallpaper to a client, and it is going to look AMAZING!!
The second Sex Education wallpaper is also in Jean Milburn’s house, this time in the bathroom. It’s Cole & Son’s Palm Jungle — colorway Petrol & Lime, which has been discontinued!! Criminal!!
On to Season 3 of Succession. Which, by the way, is off to an EXTREMELY slow start. Good thing the wallpaper is there to distract me.
First, we have Farrow & Ball’s Lotus in Rava Roy’s foyer.
This wallpaper is ICONIC. It comes in two sizes — I prefer the large, which is what Rava Roy has — and so many colorways (colourways).
And then we have the one that really stumped me: it took a TikTok viewer to solve the mystery! The wallpaper in Sophie Roy’s bedroom, same apartment as the Lotus wallpaper.
It’s Serpent Scale wallpaper by The Vale London.
I’d thought it was by Schumacher but couldn’t find it, and then I thought it might be a Cole & Son…but no. The Vale London. And you thought TikTok was a waste of time ;)
