St. Michaels, MD: A vacation home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore
The family room of this midcentury weekend home on Maryland’s Eastern Shore is flooded with light, with white walls and a double-height ceiling. Black leather and teak Swedish safari chairs from the 1960s add to the relaxed, informal vibe of the home.
Our interior design services included incorporating the client’s existing, original midcentury furniture, styling bookcases, and adding custom pillows and a rug found at a vintage store.
Resources for this vacation home project included antique stores, vintage stores, Crate & Barrel, Fermoie, and Schumacher.
