Annie Elliott
Principal Designer + CEO
Annie Elliott trained as an art historian and worked in some of the nation’s top museums before turning to interior design.
Annie graduated from Milton Academy, studied English and Art History at the University of Pennsylvania, and earned an M.A. in Art History from Williams College. Her career in museums included senior positions at Philadelphia’s Rosenbach Museum & Library, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and the Smithsonian.
After coursework at the Corcoran College of Art + Design (now part of GW University), she took her love of art and color – and her training in matters of scale, balance, and proportion – and made the shift to interior design. Today, she and her team work in and beyond DC, creating gorgeous homes that feature a hallmark mix of modern furnishings, antiques, and art.
Recently described as a “Gen Z sensation” by The Washington Post for her informative videos on TikTok, Annie (who is decidedly NOT Gen Z!) loves engaging with people about all things decorating and interior design. Annie’s work and insights have appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Washingtonian Magazine, HGTV Magazine, and other print and online publications. She has made several guest appearances on NBC4.
Annie lives in Woodley Park with her husband; twin daughters (off and on, since they’re now in college); dog; and turtle, who will outlive us all. Her favorite color used to be yellow, but now it’s green.
AMY OLIVER BEAUPRÉ
Senior Designer
With an English degree from Wellesley College and an M.A. in Art History from Williams College, Amy has more than 20 years of professional experience as an art historian, fine art appraiser, and interior design consultant.
She developed a love for the historic homes of the South and New England during a youth spent in both Louisiana and Vermont. Amy’s design philosophy is that cheerful, inviting interior spaces can be achieved with smart planning, strategic purchasing, and adding the personal elements that bring character and soul to your home.
Amy and her family recently moved from Takoma Park to Vermont, and she continues to work for Annie Elliott Design full-time. Her favorite color is robin’s egg blue.
AUDRA SCRIBNER
Interior Designer
Audra received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oklahoma and, after a stint in San Diego, moved to Washington to earn an M.A. in Interior Design at Marymount University.
Her love of interiors started when she was a little girl, frequently redecorating her doll house and obsessing over her mother’s Southern Living magazines. She loves traditional interiors (with a twist!) that incorporate saturated colors, playful patterns, and glam accents.
She lives in Glover Park with her husband, Tyler, and their coonhound-shepherd mix, Tyson. Her favorite color is a tie between butterfly wing blue and mulberry red.
LEIGH SNITIKER
Operations Director
After studying art history at Brown University and decorative art at the Bard Graduate Center, Leigh established a 20-year career in the DC auction world.
As long-time Director of European Furniture and Decorative Arts at Weschler’s and Decorative Arts Specialist at The Potomack Company, Leigh’s hands-on experience with antiques has given her an appreciation for quality in construction and design, as well as a severe allergy to particleboard.
Leigh lives in AU Park with her husband, daughter and two foster-fail cats. Her favorite color is raspberry pink.
STASIA WILLOCK
Manager of Finance
After receiving a BS in Apparel and Merchandising from Colorado State University, Stasia earned an MS in Computer Information Technology from Regis University and became a systems analyst.
In 2011, Stasia joined Stemper & Associates, a business consulting and financial management firm for interior designers. She has been working with Annie and her team for more than nine years and has contributed mightily to the firm’s growth.
Stasia lives in Centennial, Colorado with her husband, daughter, son, and crazy but loveable Greater Swiss Mountain Dog. Her favorite color is Caribbean Sea blue.
